We have an immediate vacancy for a sales representative to sell our Marketing Communication services to Marketing departments across the US.
Us: 1 year old Integrated Marketing Communications company, providing both Traditional and Social Media services. In our first year we have already captured a broad range of customers from Professional Associations to Fortune 100’s. We are expanding rapidly and this is a ground floor opportunity for the right people. It is envisioned that these people will grow with the company and so will their rewards.
You: At least 1 year experience in selling services, preferably to Marketers in Medium to Large companies. You should have a background in or strong knowledge of Marketing and Marketing Communications tools such as Case Studies, White Papers, Direct Mail, Email Marketing and some understanding of the nature of Social Media.
Terms: For the first three months probation this position is commission only, working from home. Upon successful completion of the probation period it will be base + commission, work from office. An average sales person can expect to make $48,000 per year once they meet target. Base is dependent on target being met; commission is paid on all sales.
You must be confident, professional and approachable; most of the selling will be cold calling over the phone, though networking opportunities will be provided for you to meet Marketers in the local market. Additional benefits include paid membership of the American Marketing Association after completion of probation. Persistence is key in this role and the ability to “kiss a lot of frogs” while looking for a prince amongst clients is truly a requirement.
