Who doesn't love to be a winner? Well I know I certainly do and scoring a pair of tickets to Explore Dallas would be awesome. I most certainly will be taking the talented and bubbly Ms. Beverly Garvin who shares my passion for the social digital world. Since we both work in the industry, we want to add to our databank of knowledge and provide even more benefit to those we serve - our clients. Ready to learn the latest from the greatests! I know cheesy but couldn't help myself ;-)
Thanks in advance for your generosity!

Cathy
The point is that so many marketers are trying and in many cases failing to see how to leverage Pinterest. As for brand recommendations, those are happening already. Buyosphere is an easier platform for marketers to grasp.

I think you are comparing apples to oranges here. Pinterest and Buyosphere are completely different in their mission. Pinterest is about sharing information, images and ideas; Buyosphere is about finding products to buy. I can see how the inclusion of retailers would be great business-wise, but as a consumer, I would find it annoying and spammy to have businesses saying "buy from me!!" I tend to ignore salespeople in stores in favor of hunting myself or asking a friend. They aren't getting paid for their opinions so they aren't biased.

I am personally exhausted by seeing the same old stuff, regurgitated over and over. If you Google "how to get leads using LinkedIn" there are tens of millions of results. Really? Can't we just create a wiki somewhere that has all of the basic info and then get to work innovating and making something new?

Stephen yes trimming back on networks is definitely something that a lot of users will be doing and that has big implications for marketers.

I am probably going to untether from Twitter this year. I just unfollowed about 30% of the people that I was following, and would like to get the number of people that I follow down to about 200.

I have been resisting G+ because the "only" people there are the early adopters, but I can see how interacting with a small group (read Clients) could be very powerful.
